Mayor LaDonna HallMayor Hall

Mayor LaDonna Hall is a native of Salley, SC and truly loves her little town.  She often refers to it as a small town with a big heart!!  Mayor Hall is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Eric Hall, and they have been blessed with two beautiful, intelligent daughters.  She is currently the CFO for a non-profit organization in Aiken, SC.  Her eagle pride began at Wagener-Salley High (1997 graduate) and carried on to Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC (2002 graduate).  In 2019 Mayor Hall earned her Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance from Walden University as Summa Cum Laude.  In the same year, she was elected as the first female, African-American Mayor for her beloved town!  Additionally, she is involved in many community-driven organizations such as her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the Wagener-Salley High School Improvement Council; to name a few.  Mayor Hall is grateful for the opportunity to serve the citizens of Salley and looks forward to bringing about many more changes.

 

 

 

Councilman Mark HartleyM. Hartley

Mark Hartley is a native of Salley, SC and a graduate of Wagener-Salley High.  He has served on the Salley Town Council for over 30 years and is married to Patti Hartley.  Each year Mark arrives at the chitlin building in the early hours of the morning to assure chitlins are cooked and ready to be served for our annual festival; The Chitlin' Strut.  Mark is the town's Park commissioner.  He is a long-time employee of Aiken Electric Co-op.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Councilman Chris HartleyCouncilman Milhouse

I was born and raised in Salley South Carolina. I am married to Christina Courtney-Hartley have a daughter Lauren Hartley , I have three amazing grandchildren who I love spending time with who co owns Cheveux Salon in Aiken, South Carolina, I’ve been a resident for 60 years I am the owner and operator of Hartley ‘s heating and cooling. i’m also in the entertainment, business, Singer, songwriter, and management. I am a member of Sally Baptist church, which I am the head trustee.                                                            

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Councilwoman Leah B. ShacklefordCouncilman Milhouse

Leah Brown Shackleford is a graduate of Wagener-Salley High School and Anderson University. She currently resides in Salley, South Carolina with her husband and 3 children. Leah has been employed with Aiken County Public School District at the local level since 2008. She has served as the bookkeeper and secretary for the administration at A. L. Corbett Middle School and the once combined, Busbee Corbett Elementary Middle School. She currently serves as the art teacher, yearbook/newspaper teacher and senior class sponsor at Wagener-Salley High School. In her spare time, Leah enjoys traveling with her family, judging pageants, volunteering, and researching her family genealogy. Her great-grandfathers can be traced back as the founders of the Town of Salley and the Town of Wagener.
